I’m Surendra Godara, also known as Albela Engineer. I am an explorer, filmmaker, and adventure traveler. For years, I have discovered India by road. I have lived in my self-built caravan and ridden across the high Himalayan passes, remote valleys, and the deserts of Rajasthan. Every journey has challenged and taught me, shaping who I am today.
Over time, I have developed a strong connection with the Himalayas, especially Ladakh, Zanskar, Himachal, and Spiti Valley. Their raw landscapes, quiet villages, and the warmth of the people have deeply impacted me. These places don’t just offer stunning views; they truly change you.
This connection inspired me to start OnGo Expeditions, a travel company based on real experiences instead of packaged tours. Every itinerary we provide comes from first-hand exploration, strong local ties, and a belief in slow, meaningful travel.
After years of riding through rugged terrain, hidden trails, high-altitude wilderness, and desert landscapes, I now lead curated motorcycle and road expeditions where adventure, safety, and cultural immersion come together naturally.
