I’m Surendra Godara, better known as Albela Engineer—an explorer, filmmaker, and adventure traveller who has spent years discovering India the only way I know how: by road. From living in my self-built caravan to riding across high Himalayan passes, remote valleys, and even the deserts of Rajasthan, every journey has challenged me, taught me, and shaped who I am today.
Over time, my strongest connection has grown with the Himalayas—especially Ladakh, Zanskar, Himachal, and Spiti Valley. Their raw landscapes, quiet villages, and the warmth of the people left a deep impact on me. These places don’t just offer views; they change you.
