This 14-day motorbike adventure in Ladakh is all about open roads, high passes, and stunning landscapes. Over 1,700 to 1,800 kilometers, you will ride through some of the most amazing terrains in the world. You will cross legendary passes like Khardung La and Umling La, the world’s highest motorable road at 5,883 meters.

The route takes you through the sand dunes of Nubra Valley, the charming village of Turtuk, the changing blues of Pangong Lake, the wide-open skies of Hanle, and the peaceful waters of Tso Moriri and Puga Valley. Each day offers new scenery: turquoise lakes, rugged mountains, golden deserts, and small villages that seem untouched by time.

Beyond the ride, you will have time to slow down and enjoy the area. You will visit ancient monasteries and heritage sites, relax in natural hot springs, and spend time in Balti villages to get a closer look at local life and culture. Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Orientation

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Take time to rest and adjust to the high altitude (3500 m).

There’s an optional short walk to Leh Market for light acclimatization.

Descend toward Sakti village, where the terrain gradually changes, and civilization begins to appear.

Pangong Lake to Hanle (170–190 km / 6–7 hrs)

Climb up to Kaksang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the region, and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and endless plains.
En route, stop at two beautiful lakes:
Mirpal Tso – A quiet high-altitude lake with striking blue waters, framed by rugged hills and untouched landscapes, perfect for short photo stops.

After breakfast, ride from Leh towards Alchi Monastery on the Leh–Kargil highway.

Your first stop is Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine set against rugged mountains, known for its calm and spiritual atmosphere.

Visit Alchi Monastery, one of Ladakh’s oldest and most artistically significant monasteries, famous for its centuries-old wall paintings and unique Kashmiri-style architecture.

After lunch, begin the return journey to Leh, enjoying fresh perspectives as the light changes across the valleys.
