Overview
This 14-day Leh to Leh motorcycle trip through Zanskar and Ladakh is for those who love remote roads, big mountains, and the kind of places that still feel untouched.. Covering around 1,200–1,500 km, the route winds through rugged terrain, narrow valleys, and some of the most dramatic mountain passes in the Himalayas. Starting from Leh, the ride takes you through Lamayuru, Photoksar, Lingshed, Zangla, Padum, Phuktal, Gombo, and Sarchu, before looping back to Leh.
Along the way, you’ll cross legendary high-altitude passes like Sirsir La, Singe La, Shingo La, Shinku La, Baralacha La, and Tanglang La—each one challenging, rewarding, and unforgettable. The journey moves through remote villages and quiet valleys, and into ancient monasteries such as Lamayuru, Lingshed, Zangla, Kharsha, Strongday, and the spectacular Phuktal Monastery, built right into a cliff.
This trip isn’t just about riding. There are moderate treks and Red Lake hikes, slow evenings in peaceful homestays and camps, and endless views of Moonland terrain, rivers, glaciers, and high-altitude lakes. You’ll experience local life up close, where people live in harmony with the mountains and nature.
With motorbikes, experienced guides, mechanic support, comfortable homestays or camps, and selected meals included, this journey offers a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and raw Himalayan wilderness—the kind of experience that stays with you long after the ride ends.
